On 60 km of the Usharal-Dostyk highway, traffic will be opened in 2020

An 184-km-long Usharal-Dostyk highway of national significance will run along the settlements of Yntaly, Koktum, Zhalanashkol and Dostyk in the Almaty region.

 

Now, along the entire length of the route, the main road works have been started by contracting companies - "Kyran" LLP and “ABK Avtodor NS" LLP. Quality control of the work performed is carried out by "Aimereke" LLP, "Alliance" EPC LLP and "Sapaengineering" LLP.

 

After the reconstruction of the road from the village of Usharal to the village of Dostyk will correspond to the II technical category with 2 lanes for traffic.

 

The project provides for the construction of 12 bridges, 278 culverts, rest areas, as well as covered bus stops, which will be installed in the areas of settlements.

 

In total, 363 units of equipment and 571 employees are planned to be involved in the reconstruction of the route. This year it is planned to open traffic on 60 km of a new pavement. The road companies are expected to complete the work in 2022.
