"Ensuring the security of military service" - such a training course was first introduced in the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan. The first training was a group of 50 military sergeants, those who are responsible for ensuring the security of military service in the branches of troops, in the troops of regional commands and military units.
The classes were held under the guidance of specialists from the NCO staff, the Main Directorate of the Military Police, together with the instructors from the Cadet Corps of the Ministry of Defense.
During the week, servicemen received knowledge in risk management, safety when working with weapons, ammunition and military equipment, fire safety, first aid, road traffic accident prevention, financial literacy and other topics.
According to the instructors, the trainees showed an increased interest in the topics of the classes, and the course itself was completed using a discursive approach to teaching.
“The safety of life and health of personnel is the main task of sergeants, as commanders closest to the soldiers. As you know, in 2019, the structure of the Armed Forces has established regular and non-staff positions responsible for security. Having trained them today, we hope to transfer the maximum experience and knowledge on this topic to the troops through them, ”said the Chief Sergeant of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan, Master Sergeant Temirbek Khalykov.
Recall that the 2020 academic year has been declared in the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan as the "Year of Military Service Security". Last year, a special unit was created in the structure of the military police. Its specialists monitor compliance with security requirements in military units and institutions.
