The military of Kazakhstan studied new equipment

The delegation of the Defense Ministry of Kazakhstan made a working visit to the Patriot convention and exhibition center near Moscow, where a large-scale international exhibition of weapons and military-technical property was held during the week, in which representatives of 92 countries took part.

Under the leadership of the First Deputy Defense Minister - Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant General Murat Bektanov, the working group visited the international military-technical forum "Army - 2020". This year, its beginning coincided with the opening of the International Army Games "ARMY-2020". The forum included static exhibition expositions, demonstration and scientific and business programs.

The Kazakh delegation got acquainted with the main directions of the development of weapons and military equipment, held meetings with representatives of the largest manufacturers of the military-industrial complex. In addition, some samples of weapons and military equipment were demonstrated to the Kazakh side.

In particular, the demonstration touched the scope of the use of unmanned aerial vehicles. Air reconnaissance complexes, separate systems for detecting, identifying and tracking drones, a complex for remote detection of improvised explosive devices from an unmanned aerial vehicle, anti-drone products are presented. From an engineering point of view, a machine for remote mine clearance is of interest. It is part of the missile system and ensures its safety on the route of combat patrols. This list also includes the latest medium-range air defense systems. The forum participants actively presented to our delegation the capabilities of their enterprises in the development, production and implementation of software and hardware systems, information security and communication systems for government bodies.
