Amendments are being made to the Government decree on restricted areas

The Ministry of Defense has prepared amendments and additions to the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 15, 2021 No. 9 "On Approval of the Rules for the Establishment of Restricted Zones at Arsenals, Bases and Warehouses of the Armed Forces, Other Troops and Military Formations and Restricted Areas at Arsenals, Bases and Warehouses of the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations and the list of prohibited Zones at arsenals, bases and warehouses of the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations and forbidden areas at arsenals, bases and warehouses of the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations".

 

The draft regulatory legal act was developed in order to bring the above rules in line with Presidential Decrees No. 887 dated May 3, 2022 "On some issues of the administrative-territorial Structure of the Republic of Kazakhstan", No. 1017 dated September 17, 2022 "On Renaming the city of Nur-Sultan – the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Astana – the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan", dated May 3, 2022 No. 885 "On renaming the city of Kapshagaya of Almaty region to the city of Konaev".
