The Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan received the commander of the US CENTCOM, General Kenneth Mackenzie

A protocol meeting was held in Nur-Sultan between the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant General Murat Bektanov, and the head of the Central Command of the US Armed Forces, General Kenneth Mackenzie.

The sides touched upon issues of regional security and the situation in Afghanistan, as well as international military cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United States, including in the field of peacekeeping activities.
