Updated the list of grain processing and poultry enterprises for wheat imports

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the Order of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 25, 2023 No. 337 "On the introduction of a ban on the import of wheat into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan by road and rail" informs:

1. The ban on the import of wheat into the territory of Kazakhstan by road from third countries and from the EAEU countries has been extended for a period of 6 months from October 11, 2023. These restrictions also apply to transit transportation of wheat by road through the territory of Kazakhstan.
2. A ban has been imposed for a period of 6 months on the import into the territory of Kazakhstan by rail from third countries and from the EAEU countries, with the exception of the import of wheat to licensed elevators, grain processors and poultry enterprises.

As mentioned earlier, any wheat consumers can import it through licensed elevators by rail.

We note that the restrictions imposed do not apply to transit transportation of wheat through the territory of Kazakhstan by rail.

As of 10.10.2023, NCE "Atameken" updated the list of grain processing and poultry enterprises.
