More than 10.5 thousand tons of beef sent for export

The development of animal husbandry is one of the priorities in the implementation of instructions of the Head of the State on labor productivity in agriculture and export of processed agricultural products increase at least 2.5 times; in 2018 the figure was 15 thousand tons.

More than a thousand bulls from the modern feedlot of the “Zhake” farm, where more than 3000 heads are being fed at a time, sent to Uzbekistan. Mr. Umirzak Shukeyev, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Minister of Agriculture during a trip to the Karaganda region familiarized himself with the work of the feedlot.
Further, the participants familiarized themselves with the work of a number of enterprises in the region.
1. "Agrofirmа Kurma", LLP egg specialized poultry farm. The company annually produces and sells to the regional markets 260 million eggs. In the current year, the company commissioned a Swiss installation of energy-saving equipment whjch works by recycling biowaste and invested more than 571 million tenge.
2. Eurasian Foods JSC, a company specialized in production of oil and fat products: margarine, fats and oil. The company annually produces more than 54 thousand tons of products.l, invests in the construction of a plant for condensed milk production. Products are exported to the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, as well as Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

At the end, the Republican selector meeting on implementation of the development of meat cattle breeding program and a meeting with agricultural producers of the Region took place. As a result of meetings specific instructions for measures step up to involve farmers in the program were given to the regions’ deputies akims, and personal responsibility of the deputy akims supervising achievement of indicative results was highlighted.
