Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan Madi Takiev met with representatives of the International Monetary Fund mission

The meeting is part of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) annual mission to consult with the authorities of Kazakhstan, carried out in accordance with Article IV of the IMF Statue. The event was attended by the head of the IMF mission to Kazakhstan, Nicolas Blanchard, senior economist Gregorio Impavido and other experts.

The parties reviewed the country's economic prospects for the medium term, as well as the current budget execution for 2024.

Minister Takiyev highlighted in detail the current economic situation in Kazakhstan and the reforms carried out by the Government. At the end of the meeting, he stressed the importance of strategic partnership with the IMF and expressed confidence in the continuation of mutually beneficial cooperation.
