How will the minimum retail prices for tobacco products change? Order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 4, 2024 № 419

From July 15, 2024, by Order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 4, 2024 № 419, amendments were made to the Order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 22, 2022 № 196 «On setting minimum retail prices for cigarettes with a filter, without a filter, cigarettes, cigarillos and products with heated tobacco». This was reported by the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The following minimum retail prices will be applied:

for 20 (twenty) cigarettes with a filter, without a filter, cigarettes, cigarillos and products with heated tobacco:

from July 15 to December 31, 2024 inclusive – 820 tenge;

from January 1, 2025 – 870 tenge.
