PRESS RELEASE on conducting an online meeting on the implementation of paragraph 60 «Optimization of the budget approval process of "people's participation» in n the programs of improvement and housing and communal services of local budgets with increased transparency, as well as extension to other levels of administrative-territorial units" of the National Plan, with a deadline of February 2022

 

On November 10, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chaired by Vice Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan D.E. Zhanalinov, held a videoconference meeting with the participation of deputy akims and regional specialists, and representatives of the Ministry of National Economy, Industry and Infrastructure Development, Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss approaches to the implementation of paragraph 60 of the National Plan, which includes the following activities:

Optimization the budget approval process of "people's participation» in the programs of improvement and housing and communal services of local budgets with increased transparency;

distribution of the budget of the «people's participation» to other levels of administrative-territorial units.

The regions have announced the current situation regarding the implementation of the «budget of people participation» in the regions.

Taking into account the practical implementation of the « budget of people participation» in the regions 2019-2020, as well as emerging problematic issues requiring solutions from the central state bodies, the voiced proposals of the regions were considered in detail.

The joint work of the Ministry of Finance with the participants of the meeting will continue.
