Press release on the draft Agreement on administrative Cooperation in the field of audit within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union

On October 21, 2021, a regular meeting of the Working Group on the draft Agreement on Administrative Cooperation in the Field of Auditing within the Framework of the Eurasian Economic Union was held, which was developed in the implementation of the draft Agreement on Auditing Activities in the Territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (next - as the draft Agreement) in the videoconference mode of the member States of the Eurasian Economic Union
(next - as the EAEU).

The draft Agreement, developed in accordance with the Decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council No. 22 of December 26, 2016, has now passed internal procedures and is being prepared for signing by the heads of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.

The meeting was attended by interested parties of the EAEU member states, who discussed issues of operational information exchange between competent authorities and the creation of a mechanism for preventing violations by service providers of the rights and legitimate interests of consumers, bona fide market participants, as well as public (state) interests.

We remind you that the beginning of the functioning of the single market of services is envisaged no later than 2022.
