Press release to the draft order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On amendments to the Order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 16, 2015 No. 175 «On approval of the Rules for accreditation of professional organizations, certification organizations»»

Draft order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On Amendments to the Order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 16, 2015 No. 175 «On approval of the Rules for accreditation of professional organizations, certification organizations» was developed in order to implement the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 13, 2020 «On Amendments and Additions to Some legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on countering the legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime and the financing of terrorism» (here in after - the draft Order).

This Law amended the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On Accounting and Financial Reporting» regarding the introduction of the Code of Ethics of Accountants in Kazakhstan, issued by the International Federation of Accountants.

In addition, the draft Order has been updated with new amendments to the order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 26, 2006 No. 273 «On approval of the Rules for certification of candidates for auditors».

The adoption of the draft Order will improve the system of professional accountants' professional development and certification of candidates for professional accountants, as well as improve the quality of activities carried out by professional accountants. In addition, it will provide high-quality accreditation of certification organizations.

The draft Order is posted for public discussion on the Internet portal of open legal acts (https://legalacts.egov.kz ) with a period until October 25, 2021.
