Ministry of Finance launched a new online service for business

The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan has launched on the portal "Unified personal account of  entrepreneur" (EPAE) a new service "Termination of the activities of an individual entrepreneur," as well as an electronic service for the liquidation of LLP in a simplified manner.

Now entrepreneurs can apply for the closure of an individual entrepreneur or the liquidation of an LLP completely in electronic format, without visiting government agencies and switching between various information systems. The new functionality was the next step in the development of the "one window" principle for business.

EPAE is a state portal that combines key digital services of the Ministry of Finance for entrepreneurs. Through the platform, users can receive notifications, use tax services, work with analytical tools, interact with counterparties and receive advice from an AI assistant.

Previously, the procedure for terminating the activities of an individual entrepreneur or liquidating an LLP required a personal appeal to the relevant authorities and the preparation of a package of documents. Now the whole process - from submitting an application to obtaining a result is available online through the EPAE.

For individual entrepreneurs, it is possible to submit an application for termination of activities in several steps without visiting the state authorities. income. For LLP, it is envisaged to submit an application for liquidation in a simplified manner with the ability to track the status of consideration directly in the personal account.

It is important to note that the launch of the service does not change the current procedure for terminating the activities of individual entrepreneurs and liquidating LLPs. All procedures are still regulated by the tax legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The new functionality makes the process more convenient, accessible and transparent due to the digital format of interaction.

The launch of the service is carried out in stages. At the first stage, the service is available to individual entrepreneurs, resident legal entities and their branches (structural divisions of resident legal entities). In the future, private practitioners, participants in joint individual entrepreneurship, as well as legal entities undergoing reorganization by merger will be able to use the service.

For individual entrepreneurs, the entire path from submitting an application to obtaining the final result is automatic. For LLP, the service is partially automated, but in both cases the procedure remains completely electronic on the side of the services of the Ministry of Finance.

• Log in to the EPAE using an EDS and SMS code.

• Sign the application with an electronic digital signature.• Track the status of the review in your personal account.
