National Fund for Children: over $2.5 billion accrued to 7 million Kazakhstani children in three years

According to the results of three years of the National Fund for Children program, the total amount of savings for 7 million Kazakhstani children exceeded $2.5 billion. The program, initiated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, is aimed at implementing the principle of fair distribution of national wealth and ensuring equal starting opportunities for young people.

This year, 6,918,656 children born in the period from 2008 to 2025 inclusive became participants in the program. The total amount of accruals from the investment income of the National Fund exceeded $900 million. Thus, each child was charged $130.71 for 2026.

For those who reach adulthood in 2026 (this is 356,613 people), a total transfer of $132.1 million is provided.

An important aspect of the program is the capitalization of funds. The amount of $232.94 accrued to each child in previous periods earned an investment income of $6.91.

As a result, for children participating in the program since its launch, the total amount of savings, taking into account investment income for three years (2024-2026), amounted to $370.56 each.

The program funds are already helping to solve important life problems of young people. The bulk ($26.3 million) was aimed at improving housing conditions for 158,774 approved applications. Another $15.5 million was invested in children's education for 94,068 applications.

How to check accruals

The mechanism of the program is fully digitized and transparent. Parents can check the child's participation and the amount of savings in several ways:

- on the kids.enpf.kz website (according to the child's IIN);

- in the personal account on the egov.kz portal;

- in mobile applications Halyk, Kaspi.kz and Bcc.kz.

Important: upon reaching 18 years of age, the savings are transferred to a special account in the UAPF, and only the owner himself gets access to them using the EDS.

If the data on the child is not in the applications, you must contact the PSC. To confirm citizenship, you should visit the department of the migration service at the place of residence.

To direct money to housing or training, the recipient only needs to apply through authorized operators. The bank and Halyk Bank, which previously worked in the Otbasy program, were joined by a new partner, Bank CenterCredit, in mid-2025, which expanded the options for young people.

The implementation of the program "National Fund for Children" shows that Kazakhstan is a social state that has been taking care of its citizens since childhood. Supporting young people, investing in the future of the country and people remains one of the main priorities of state policy. Thanks to such initiatives, young Kazakhstanis receive a real financial basis for solving important life problems: obtaining high-quality education and improving housing conditions.
