The final expanded meeting was chaired by Vice Minister of Finance Dauren Kenbeil and Head of the Committee Yerzhan Mynzhasarov with the participation of heads of territorial divisions.
In 2025, 1359 audit activities were carried out (22% less than in 2024), but the volume of violations identified increased by 36% to 462 billion tenge. The effectiveness of one check has increased by more than a third. 418.4 billion tenge was reimbursed and restored to the budget.
One of the key areas of work last year was online budget monitoring, thanks to which each tenge of public funds was controlled remotely. During the year, 1.5 billion tenge of unjustified payments were confirmed, of which more than 1 billion tenge was returned to the treasury.
The Committee paid special attention to the supervision of large expenses and socially significant projects. Thanks to this, unreasonable overpricing in public procurement in the amount of more than 57 billion tenge was prevented.
Digitalization is fundamentally changing the control system, and the Committee is actively improving its approaches. The integration of the Depository of Financial Statements (DFS) with E-Minerals made it possible to expand the coverage of subsoil users almost threefold - from 460 to 1,400 people. As a result, more than 1,300 large entrepreneurs have been brought out of the shadows.
During the meeting, the Vice Minister of Finance outlined the tasks for the coming period and gave specific instructions for their implementation, stressing the importance of further improving system control and the effective use of digital tools in the work of the Committee.
