The Ministry of Finance answered business questions about the new Tax Code

On January 1, 2026, a new Tax Code came into force in Kazakhstan. In this regard, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducts active explanatory work, including in the format of personal receptions of citizens and meetings with business representatives.

The next reception was held with the participation of the Vice Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Birzhanov. During the meeting, entrepreneurs raised issues of tax administration, thresholds for VAT registration and business support measures in the context of changes in fiscal policy.

Following the reception, the Vice Minister gave a number of instructions to the relevant departments for a detailed study of the voiced proposals. Yerzhan Birzhanov stressed the importance of maintaining a balance between the fiscal interests of the state and creating favorable conditions for business development.

Work on holding meetings with the population and explaining innovations is carried out by the Ministry of Finance within the framework of the "Hearing State" concept.
