JSC "Information and Accounting Center" of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan won the award of the international competition of technological solutions in the framework of Weixin Open Class PRO 2026, held in China. The project of the Kazakh team was marked as "Global Digital Pioneer of the Year."
Weixin Open Class PRO is one of the largest annual events of the Weixin/WeChat ecosystem, uniting from 3 to 4 thousand participants from around the world: representatives of government agencies, business, developers and technological innovators. In 2026, the event was timed to coincide with the 15th anniversary of the Weixin platform.
The international jury was praised by the digital project Silk Road Express - Weixin mini-program. The program is integrated with the Kazakhstan state service of the electronic queue of crossing the border CarGoRuqsat. The solution provides government and logistics services in digital format for Chinese carriers, including electronic queuing at the border, payments, notifications and service support.
The digital solution has increased the efficiency of cross-border logistics between Kazakhstan and China. The project became an example of practical integration of Kazakhstan's state digital infrastructure with the Weixin international ecosystem and was presented as an example of a scalable cross-border digital service.
Weixin Mini Program is used as a single digital window for Chinese drivers and logistics companies: booking a queue at the border, paying fees through Weixin Pay, receiving notifications and authorization codes. Moreover, all support is in Chinese. In fact, Weixin is a service channel in a format familiar to the user from China.
Participation and victory in the competition confirmed the competitiveness of Kazakhstani digital solutions at the global level and the potential for integrating government services into international digital ecosystems.
