Private schools in Kazakhstan continue to receive budget funding in full. Debts for teaching children accumulated by the beginning of the current school year are completely closed. In parallel, there is a planned payment for current training services, as well as the allocation of funds in a new direction: "reconstruction and construction" of school infrastructure. The total amount of funds already transferred in 2025 (September-December) amounted to 73.8 billion tenge (94% of the obligations assumed by the budget). This was reported by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The transfer of money to private schools is part of the systematic work to fulfill the instructions of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev to eliminate the shortage of student places in the country.

The new distribution service OrtaBilim has covered all regions of Kazakhstan. So, according to OrtaBilim data, as of December 30, the leader in the development of public investments is the North Kazakhstan region (4 local private schools were financed, whose accounts received about 0.5 billion tenge). Akmola region is in second place - 0.3 billion tenge (6 schools), in third, Karaganda region - 0.7 billion tenge (15 schools).

The smallest amount of funding for private schools in the Kyzylorda region, where out of 39 schools received funding this year only 2 schools.

All statistics on schools, budget and applications are available on the OrtaBilim service website (https://orta-bilim.e-qazyna.kz/ru/refs/by-budget?Year=2025).

The new digital service OrtaBilim was created in a short time and launched in mid-November after a series of inspections and audits that revealed shortcomings in education funding. In particular, some schools were located in premises that did not meet the intended purpose. In addition, the facts of "dead souls" among teachers and the simultaneous "training" of the same student in different schools were revealed.

The OrtaBilim service was created by a domestic IT company - Information and Accounting Center JSC of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan (100% state participation). It is one of the oldest IT companies in the country. The center was established by a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan of November 2, 1993.

All platforms and services of JSC "IAC" undergo timely certification for security and data protection.
