A ceremonial event dedicated to the National Currency Day was held at the Ministry of Finance

 

On November 15, Kazakhstan celebrates National Currency Day. To mark this occasion, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a ceremonial event attended by Minister Madi Takiev.

He congratulated the staff on their professional holiday and emphasized the historical significance of the date. “November 15 has become a symbol of our country’s financial sovereignty and economic independence. The work carried out by our team is a substantial contribution to the sustainable development of the entire nation,” noted Madi Takiev.

During the event, employees who made significant contributions to the development of the financial sector were recognized. Departmental awards were presented — the “Excellence in Financial Service” badge and medals “For Contribution to the Development of the Economic Sector.”

The event also honored the winners of the first industry chess tournament “Finance Chess Cup-2025.” Thirty teams from the central office and regional branches participated. The Committee of State Revenues team took first place in the overall standings, the team from Shymkent came in second, and the central office team of the Ministry took third.

The celebration concluded with a festive concert.
