World Bank and Kazakhstan on the path of sustainable development

Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan Madi Takyiev met with Najy Benhassine, World Bank’s New Division Director for Central Asia, who replaced Tatyana Proskuryakova in this post.

 The meeting was also attended by Andrey Mikhnev,  World Bank Permanent Representative to Kazakhstan, Zafar Khashimov International Finance Corporation Manager for Kazakhstan and Yanina Ermakova Senior Operations Director.

Madi Takiyev congratulated Najy Benhassine on his appointment and stressed the importance of further strengthening cooperation with the World Bank. During the conversation, priority areas of joint work were discussed.

Following the meeting, mutual interest was confirmed in continuing a constructive dialogue and implementing joint projects that contribute to the sustainable development of Kazakhstan.
