The available clarifications of the new Tax Code will help businesses and citizens adapt to changes faster, avoid reporting errors, and plan finances effectively. To this end, the Ministry of Finance has launched a large-scale information campaign covering all regions of the country.
On August 14, 2025, in Kokshetau, with the support of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken", a seminar was held with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanybek Nurzhanov.
Akmola region is an industrial and agricultural region. There are more than 1,000 enterprises operating in industry here, and the region is a major producer and exporter of agricultural products, including wheat and flour. The region plays an important role in ensuring the food security of the capital, so explaining new approaches to taxation, optimizing reporting and tax procedures are especially important for local entrepreneurs.
Zhanybek Nurzhanov said that flexible and understandable special tax regimes will be introduced for businesses and the self-employed from January 1, 2026. This will reduce bureaucratic procedures and allow entrepreneurs to focus on business development rather than complex reporting and inspections.
"Approaches to tax administration are fundamentally changing. Firstly, desk inspections will now be preventive in nature. Secondly, the procedures for debt collection, deferral and installment payments are significantly simplified. Thirdly, with insignificant amounts of arrears, the SRC will no longer automatically block the accounts of entrepreneurs. Instead, a phased notification system will be applied, which will give businesses the opportunity to correct violations in a timely manner," said the deputy head of the State Revenue Committee.
At the end of the meeting, representatives of the Ministry of Finance gave detailed answers to relevant questions.
The next seminar will be held on August 18 in Kostanay, Kostanay region.
