Today, Vice Minister of Finance Asset Turysov took part in a press conference of the Central Communications Service, where he spoke about the implementation of the National Catalog of Goods State Database, a key project for the digital transformation of public finances.
The national product catalog is a single digital reference in which each product in the country will have a unique GTIN/NTIN code. This data will be used in all key processes, from trade and customs to public procurement and budget planning.
Already now:
• There are 15 million products in the database, data on 10+ million receipts is received daily;
• The catalog is integrated with retailers, trading platforms, OFD, KKM, ESF, customs, state planning and commodity accounting systems;
• Implemented 11 API services for business integration;
• Tens of thousands of codes from existing reference books have been compared.
From January 1, 2026, the registration of goods in the CNT will become mandatory for all manufacturers and importers. The relevant law has already been signed, and a roadmap for implementation has been developed.
Advantages of CNT:
• Transparency of turnover;
• Quality control and expiration dates;
• Fight against counterfeiting;
• Simplification of participation in public procurement and state support measures.
"The implementation of the National Product Catalog will cover about 20 trade areas and create a single data standard, which will increase management efficiency, protect consumers and simplify business operations," Asset Turysov emphasized.
