State audit in Kazakhstan is entering a phase of large-scale digital transformation. In the near future, the Internal State Audit Committee (ISAC) of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan will begin implementing new digital tools for desk control based on big data analysis and machine learning technologies. This will automate the verification of reports, increase the accuracy and effectiveness of control measures, and reduce the risks of human error and misuse.
Another important innovation is the complete digitalization of notification procedures for budget monitoring and preventive control. The new option will speed up interaction between government agencies and subordinate organizations, reduce time costs and increase transparency of work with budget funds.
In order to comprehensively develop the professional environment, two specialized digital projects are being worked on.:
The "Unified Auditor's Office" is a digital control point of the Internal State Audit Committee (ISAC) and its territorial departments with the integration of all business processes in a single window to improve the efficiency and convenience of working with information systems.
"Auditor Kalkany AI" is an intelligent system for distance learning and certification of auditors. It will ensure continuous professional development and strengthen human resources in the field of public audit.
All these initiatives have become part of the Roadmap for Digitalization of the activities of the Internal State Audit Committee (ISAC), approved by the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Madi Takiev. The document covers 30 events and is focused on strengthening analytical capacity and developing digital audit tools.
"In order for the digital transformation to be successful, the Committee has already held working sessions with the Center for Electronic Finance JSC. This allowed us to coordinate with the developers of the Ministry of Finance's IT systems and synchronize our tasks with the capabilities of the digital infrastructure," said Orazbai, Deputy Chairman of the ISAC.
The adopted Roadmap will become the basis for the formation of a digital ecosystem of state audit, which allows to quickly identify risks and prevent violations.
