In 2025, the Appeals Commission held 45 meetings to consider tax and customs disputes and reviewed 222 complaints from taxpayers and foreign economic activity participants.
The results of 74 inspections or 33% of the total number of complaints examined were canceled in full or in part, thus, compared to last year, when the figure was 31%, there is an increase in decisions of the Appeals Commission made in support of business entities.
During the reporting period, 207 representatives of taxpayers and foreign economic activity participants took part in the meetings of the Appeals Commission and presented their arguments directly to the members of the Appeals Commission.
On the official website of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan (www.gov.kz) in the section “Activities/Appeal Commission for Tax and Customs Disputes/Practice of Tax and Customs Disputes” contains 1,116 decisions on tax and customs disputes, including 87 decisions for 2025.
In addition, these decisions are also posted on the websites of the business community “Taxes in Kazakhstan,” “Accounting KZ,” “PARAGRAPH,” and the Kazakhstan Association of Customs Brokers (Representatives).
