Corruption risk arising during the procedure of destroying goods placed under the customs destruction procedure.

In Article 331 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Customs Regulation in the Republic of Kazakhstan," define specific timeframes for the destruction of goods declared under the destruction procedure. (e.g., “within 5 working days” — send a request to the authorized body; “no later than 3 working days” after receiving the response — establish a commission with the issuance of the corresponding Order on the creation of the commission).

The Department submitted request No. MKD-05-20-14/5026 dated 16.05.2025 to the CSR MF RK. In response, letter No. KGD-13-2-11/20964-MKK dated 22.05.2025 states that in determining the destruction timeframes, it is necessary to consider the method of destruction, the timeframes for local executive bodies to designate destruction locations, and the time required to obtain a conclusion from the authorized state body on the feasibility of destruction.

Based on the above, all conditions for executing the destruction process must be taken into account when determining specific deadlines.
