Telephone conversation of deputy foreign ministers of Kazakhstan and North Macedonia

NUR-SULTAN, June 19, 2020 - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Margulan Baimukhan held a telephone conversation with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia Andrej Zernovski.

The parties exchanged congratulations on the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of North Macedonia.

Particular attention was paid to the trade and economic relations. They expressed confidence that the upcoming creation of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation will give a new impetus to the deepening of business and investment ties. 

Measures taken by the governments of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of North Macedonia to counteract the spread of coronavirus were the further topic of discussion.

Concluding the conversation, the diplomats reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening friendly ties and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.
