Kazakhstan and Mongolia exchanged letters of ratification of the Treaty on the Transfer of Convicted Persons

NUR-SULTAN, May 26, 2020 - First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Shakhrat Nuryshev and Ambassador of Mongolia to Kazakhstan Luvsan Battulga exchanged letters of ratification of the Treaty between Kazakhstan and Mongolia on the Transfer of Convicted Persons, done on March 29, 2018, in the capital of Kazakhstan.

According to paragraph 1 of Article 21 of the Treaty, it shall enter into force thirty days after the date of the exchange of the ratification letters.

During the event, the parties discussed pressing issues of bilateral cooperation, and agreed to hold a number of important events after  the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic has been stabilized.
