The Ambassador of Kazakhstan presented his credentials to the President of Latvia

Riga, November 17, 2023 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Latvia Dauren Karipov presented his credentials to the President of Latvia Edgars Rinkevics.

During the conversation, the Kazakh diplomat conveyed to the Latvian leader a congratulatory message from the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the occasion of the national holiday - the 105th anniversary of the Proclamation of the Republic of Latvia.

Dauren Karipov assured Edgars Rinkevics that Astana attaches special importance to further strengthening bilateral cooperation with Riga.

Both sides noted the friendly nature of relations between Kazakhstan and Latvia, the importance of maintaining a consistent course towards the comprehensive strengthening of bilateral cooperation and deepening interaction between the two countries. Trade and economic interaction, as well as transport and logistics, were named as key areas of cooperation between the two countries. Ambassador D.Karipov noted with satisfaction the increase in the volume of mutual trade between the two countries.

At the end of the conversation, the President of Latvia congratulated the Ambassador on his official assumption of office and wished him success in further strengthening Kazakh-Latvian relations.
