Foreign ministers of Kazakhstan and Armenia hold a phone conversation

NUR-SULTAN, May 5, 2020 - Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi and Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan held a phone conversation at the initiative of the Armenian side.

The sides discussed topical issues of the bilateral cooperation, including the implementation of the agreements reached during the bilateral summit in Yerevan in October 2019.

Substantive consideration was given to the interaction in multilateral formats, inter alia upcoming events at the high and highest levels.

The importance of collaboration in countering the spread of coronavirus infection was emphasized, including the coordination of efforts to return the citizens of Kazakhstan and Armenia to their homeland.

The mutual intention of Nur-Sultan and Yerevan to further promote political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation was confirmed.
