Citizens of Kazakhstan returned home from Minsk

On April 20, 2020, as part of the initiative to return our citizens from abroad due to the spread of coronavirus, the military transport aviation provided by the Air Force of Kazakhstan safely returned citizens of Kazakhstan back to their homeland from Belarus.

By joining efforts, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, as well as state bodies of Belarus carried out the transportation of 40 of our compatriots, including 6 children.

Military doctors accompanied the citizens during the flight. All returnees feel well, showing no signs of the coronavirus infection. As per the requirements of the infection control, they are currently waiting for a medical examination under quarantine.

The repatriation of citizens was possible thanks to the effective work of the diplomats and employees of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Minsk, who continue to provide ongoing assistance to the citizens of Kazakhstan in Belarus.
