Notice for foreign citizens residing in Kazakhstan

Due to the measures countering the spread of COVID-19 in Kazakhstan, the State Commission for the State of Emergency under the President of Kazakhstan decided to extend visas and work permits for foreign citizens who are residing in Kazakhstan until 20 April 2020. 

The duration of stay of foreign citizens who entered the territory of Kazakhstan according to the existing regulations on visa-free regime for 57 countries, will be extended for 30 days.

Therefore, administrative measures will not be taken in relation to these categories of foreign citizens.

The implementation of this decision has been assigned to the Ministries of the Interior Affairs, Foreign Affairs, Labour and Social Protection of the Population and the regions' governors offices.
