Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan opened in Kharkiv

The grand opening of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kharkiv, Poltava and Sumy regions was held in the city of Kharkiv (Ukraine). EminNajafli, aKharkiv businessman, philanthropist and a well-known lawyer in the region with great experience, was appointed as the head of the Consulate.  

During his speech, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ukraine SamatOrdabayev noted the important role of the Honorary Consulate in the development of Kazakh-Ukrainian relations in all areas of cooperation. Particular emphasis was placed on promoting the interests of Kazakhstan, developing trade and economic partnerships between the countries, as well as protecting the rights and interests of citizens and legal entities of our country.

The eastern region of Ukraine has a substantialeconomic, scientific and cultural potential. The region has advanced chemical, fuel and energy, food and light industries, mechanical engineering, as well as the production of construction materials. In addition, the agro-industrial industryis developing very dynamically in the Kharkiv, Poltava and Sumy regions.

The event was attended by the leadership of the Kharkiv Regional Administration and the city of Kharkov, members of the Kharkiv Regional Council, representatives of the diplomatic corps, business communities of the region, the Kazakh diaspora in Kharkiv, and the media.
