Kazakh passports can be issued within 30 days in the UAE

Nur-Sultan, May 26, 2022 – Citizens of Kazakhstan in the UAE will be able to receive a national passport at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Dubai within 30 days. Previously, this procedure took 80 days.

The Ministries of Foreign and Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, as part of the implementation of the State of the Nation Address of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, continue to work in pilot mode on introducing electronic documents of Kazakh citizens through the Registration Point “Documentation in Foreign Missions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”

The electronic documentation system is already operating in the diplomatic missions of Kazakhstan in Germany (Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, Munich, Hanover), the Republic of Korea (Seoul), Russia (Moscow), the United States (Washington, New York, San Francisco), Uzbekistan (Tashkent) and Japan (Tokyo).
