Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister meets with the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States

Nur-Sultan, January 31, 2022 - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi met with Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Baghdad Amreyev as part of his working visit to Nur-Sultan.

During the talks, the parties exchanged views on cooperation between Kazakhstan and OTS and on topical issues on the Organization's agenda.

The Minister emphasized the importance of the effective implementation of the decisions taken at the eighth Summit of the Turkic Council in Istanbul and initiatives of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the establishment of the Turkic investment Fund on the platform of the Astana International Financial Centre.

As part of his working visit, the OTS Secretary General will also meet with Kazakhstan’s State Secretary Erlan Karin and Deputy Chief of Staff of the President of Kazakhstan and Special Representative of the President for International Cooperation Erzhan Kazykhan.
