Telephone conversation between the Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia

Nur-Sultan, January 12, 2022 – Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.

On behalf of the Saudi leadership, Prince Faisal expressed support for the actions of the Kazakh authorities to stabilize the situation in the country. He reiterated the readiness to provide all possible assistance if necessary.

Mr. Tileuberdi briefed him on the new tasks set by the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Toqayev, to the Government to restore normalcy and carry out further socio-economic transformations.

The parties also discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, including the arrangement of mutual visits at various levels.
