Telephone conversation between the Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan and Iran

Nur-Sultan, January 11, 2022 - Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Hossein Abdollahian.

During the conversation, the Iranian Minister expressed his condolences for the victims of the riots in Kazakhstan on behalf of the leadership and people of Iran. He also expressed support for the actions of the Kazakh authorities to overcome the tragedy and stabilize the situation in the country.

The Kazakh Foreign Minister thanked his Iranian counterpart for his support. He noted that the leadership of Kazakhstan is taking concrete measures to ensure public safety and return to normalcy.

The parties concluded the conversation by stressing the need to maintain bilateral relations on a high level.
