Citizens of Kazakhstan in Germany, Russia and the United States will be able to get a passport in 30 days

Nur-Sultan, October 20, 2021 – Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan pays particular attention to reducing the time for issuing passports, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently, the implementation of the “pilot project” of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Internal Affairs is continuing to reduce the time for issuing passports to citizens of Kazakhstan located in Germany.

Previously, it took 80 days, while currently, due to the joint efforts of state bodies, it has been reduced to 30 days.

As of today, 33 Kazakhstani citizens who have applied through Kazakhstan's foreign missions in Germany have received their passports in reduced time.

The pilot project has also been successfully implemented in the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Russia and foreign missions of Kazakhstan in the USA.

The work on expanding the list of countries where conditions will be created to reduce the time for issuing passports continues.
