On the telephone conversation between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and Russia

Nur-Sultan, August 18, 2021 – At the Russian initiative, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi had a telephone conversation with the Russia Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov.

The foreign ministers discussed pressing issues of global and regional security, including the situation in Afghanistan.

During the discussion of the bilateral agenda, the schedule of upcoming meetings at the highest and high levels was considered; a common understanding was reached on strengthening cooperation on human rights issues.
