On the telephone conversation between the Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan

Nur-Sultan, August 18, 2021 – At the initiative of the Kyrgyz side, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi had a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ruslan Kazakbayev.

Mr. Kazakbayev expressed his gratitude to the President of Kazakhstan Qasym-Jomart Toqayev and the Government of Kazakhstan for providing fraternal assistance in returning 14 Kyrgyz citizens from Afghanistan, as well as their diplomats.

The Ministers agreed on close collaboration on monitoring the the situation in Afghanistan and on further joint measures in solving operational matters.
