Telephone conversation between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan

Nur-Sultan, August 12, 2021 - At the Turkmen initiative, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi had a telephone conversation with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.

During the conversation, the foreign ministers discussed issues of further strengthening the Kazakh-Turkmen strategic partnership. Particular attention was paid to the interaction on the implementation of the agreements reached during the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States held in Turkmenbashi on August 6.

The parties reviewed the schedule of upcoming events at the highest and high levels.
