Kazakh Foreign Minister met with Azerbaijani Ambassador

Nur-Sultan, June 7, 2021 – Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi received Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan Rashad Mammadov on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in our country.

The Foreign Minister noted the Ambassador's significant contribution to the development of bilateral political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian relations. The signing of an agreement on the construction of fiber optic links along the bottom of the Caspian Sea, the construction of the Azersun logistics center and a transformer plant on the territory of the SEZ "Seaport Aktau", the launch of a polyethylene pipes production plant in the Mangystau region and other investment projects were successfully implemented during his 13-year diplomatic activity in Kazakhstan.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Minister awarded the "Order of Dostyk" of the II degree to Rashad Mammadov for his personal contribution to the development of bilateral relations.
