The Foreign Minister received the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan

Nur-Sultan, May 6, 2021 - Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi held a meeting with the Kyrgyz Ambassador to Kazakhstan Zheenbek Kulubaev.

Kazakhstan expressed its sincere condolences for the casualties and tragic events on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border.

Mukhtar Tileuberdi welcomed the efforts of the parties to stabilize the situation, stressing the importance of a peaceful settlement of such disputes.

On behalf of the leadership of Kyrgyzstan, Ambassador Kulubaev expressed gratitude to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for the assistance provided in stabilizing the conflict.

The parties discussed pressing issues of further strengthening the Kazakh-Kyrgyz cooperation, including the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest and high levels.
