Telephone conversation between the Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan

Nur-Sultan, May 3, 2021 - At the initiative of Turkmenistan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi had a telephone conversation with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.

The parties discussed pressing issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. They also focused on the preparations for the summits and high-level meetings scheduled to be held in 2021.

The parties had a substantive exchange of views on the regional and international agenda.

Following the talks, the parties agreed to maintain bilateral contacts in the spirit of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership.
