Ambassador of Kazakhstan Presents Credentials to President of Italy

Rome, 29 April 2021 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan Yerbolat Sembayev presented his credentials to the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella.

After the ceremony at Quirinale Palace, they held a bilateral meeting, during which the Ambassador conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to the Italian President on behalf of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The parties also discussed the main issues of political, trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Italy.

President Mattarella, in turn, conveyed to President Tokayev the warmest and friendliest words of greetings, and addressed his best wishes for peace and prosperity to the people of Kazakhstan.

At the end of the meeting, the Kazakh diplomat expressed his readiness to make every effort to strengthen further bilateral cooperation. For his part, President Mattarella congratulated the Ambassador of Kazakhstan on the beginning of the diplomatic mission in Italy and wished him success in his future work.
