On the meeting with the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Portugal

Nur-Sultan, April 26, 2021 - Director of the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Mr. Bauyrzhan Akatayev, held a meeting with the newly appointed Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Portugal, Gil Fernando Tainha Vieira, during which he was presented with the official document of appointment – the patent of the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan.

Mr. Bauyrzhan Akatayev highlighted the need to intensify the activities of the Honorary Consul to establish and deepen the areas of cooperation in the trade, economic and investment sectors.

Taking into account the difficult epidemiological situation in the world, the director gave specific recommendations on the activities of the Honorary Consulate to protect the rights and interests of individuals and legal entities of Kazakhstan, to provide necessary assistance to Kazakh citizens in circumstances of insuperable force and emergency situations, as well as on a wide range of issues of the consular service.
