Invitation of Foreign Media to the OIC Summit on Science and Technology Astana, September 10-11, 2017

Ladies and gentlemen,

We invite you to take part in the First Organization of Islamic Cooperation Summit on Science and Technology to be held under the chairmanship of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev September 10-11, 2017, in Astana.

To receive accreditation for this event, representatives of foreign mass media should send the following data to press2017oic@mfa.kz and press2017oic@gmail.com by 6 pm (Astana time), August 31, 2017:

1) Completed accreditation form;

2) one colour photo sized 3.5 х 4.5 cm (JPEG format, 300 dpi resolution) with surname and first name as the file's name on a white or blue background. The potential participant should be photographed strictly from the front with undistorted facial expression and without any hat.

3) Scanned copy of the passport;

4) Citizens of those countries that need visa support to come to Kazakhstan should inform us about the planned period of their stay in Astana. We draw your attention to the fact that the issuance of a visa in Kazakhstan's foreign missions usually takes five working days.

Please, note that the access of media representatives to the official events and to the Press Center will be granted only based on the badges with a photo upon presentation of an identity document (passport).

Accreditation of the Kazakh media is carried out by the Ministry of Information and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan by phone: 74-06-24 (e-media), 74-04-73 (p-media), 74-07-22 (online media).

The information about the date and place of issuing accreditation badges will be announced later.

We draw your attention to the fact that media representatives who did not apply for accreditation by 6 pm, August 31, will not be admitted to the event.

Venue: Palace of Independence, Astana, 52, Tauelsizdik Ave. The Press Center will be organized in the Shabyt Art Palace, Astana, 50, Tauelsizdik Avenue will be opened from 08:00 till 18.00, September 10-11, 2017.
