MFA of Kazakhstan holds the meeting of the dialogue platform of non-governmental sector

Consultative and advisory body's next meeting on "Dialogue platform on human dimension" chaired by Deputy Foreign Minister Roman Vasilenko was held on August 28 in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Representatives of the civil sector and state bodies once again demonstrated their readiness for open and substantive dialogue and cooperation.

During the event topical issues of fulfillment of international obligations by Kazakhstan accepted by our state within the framework of the United Nations were discussed. Representatives of the state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan and domestic non-governmental organizations examined the implementation of the provisions of the UN Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment as well as the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

In addition, a thorough and constructive views on the draft of new Tax Code regarding taxation of non-profit organizations were exchanged.
