Cuba expressed its gratitude to Kazakhstan for support within the framework of the EAEU

Nur-Sultan, March 12, 2021 - At the initiative of the Cuban side, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla.

The Kazakh Foreign Minister congratulated his Cuban counterpart on receiving Cuba's Observer State status in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). He also expressed hope for deepening mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, economic and investment areas.

The sides also discussed a number of topical issues of bilateral cooperation, stated the need for further development of the political dialogue, and exchanged views on the main international and regional issues of mutual interest. An agreement was reached to promote the expansion of the legal and contractual framework between the two countries.
