The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has launched "Consul-Komek" Telegram bot for consular services

Nur-Sultan, March 11, 2021 – To protect the legitimate rights and interests of our citizens abroad, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has developed and launched the "Consul-Komek" Telegram bot.

Its main task is to provide and explain information about the procedure for obtaining public services in Kazakh embassies and consulates.

For example, if a citizen does not know how to get a child's birth certificate through a diplomatic mission, register a marriage or issue a Kazakh passport, then through the use of the bot it is possible to get relevant information about the list of documents for obtaining public services and the terms of their provision.

The bot also provides an opportunity to book a visit to the diplomatic mission of Kazakhstan in advance to receive services. To do this, select the country and city where the nearest consular office is located, enter your contact details and select the date and time. A reservation or application will be confirmed, or other available time will be offered via a notification.

The bot will improve the quality of interaction between Kazakh consuls and citizens and increase their awareness of the services provided.
