The Foreign Minister received the Ambassador of Turkmenistan

Nur-Sultan, March 9, 2021 - The Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi held a meeting with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan, Batyr Rejepov.

The Minister congratulated the Ambassador on the beginning of the diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan and wished him success in challenging endeavours aimed at strengthening the Kazakh-Turkmen strategic partnership.

Kazakhstan welcomes Turkmenistan's decision to become an observer at the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-building Measures in Asia (CICA). The expansion of the CICA's membership during Kazakhstan's presidency testifies to the growing authority of this organization.

The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation and the schedule of upcoming events at the high and highest levels. The parties considered the ways of further strengthening cooperation within the framework of regional and international organizations.
